,V , ...S s A Above: Registration day proved to be a very crowded time. During Sophomore registration, the Math table got a lot of attention. IO - Student Life '40 I 5235? 3 Get Up and -J 4 The Freshmen met in the gym before registering in order to receive instruc- tions as to how to go about it. Registration . . . year after year it's the same procedure, a cycle from the time of graduation from junior high until the day of graduation from high school. A student picks his classes, registers, and finally comes to school. Although some think it boring and repetitious, most hold each year as unique and different experience. For the Freshmen it's new and confusing. For the Sophomores and Juniors it is routine. For the Seniors it is different not to be doing it again like everyone else. The Goldusters served as guides throughout the registration period. Here, they take a break in the gym. 'U'-vm-A. Mrs. Aubin and Mr. Hopper helped to acq- uaint the students with the procedures. Coach Steve Brewer talks about the Baseball teams and their season. -is K Fred Akers of the University of Texas talked about pride and the want to win. fi The 1977 football teams presented Coach Mar' shall with a T.V. as thanks for a good year. Coach Raymond Hall introduces the Varsity Basket' ball team and their individual profiles, Banquets Top Off Athletic Seasons Recognition to athletes who have played J.V. sports and gratitude to coaches is uncovered at the Sports Banquets. The Football banquet was on December 15, 1978. Fred Akers of the University of Texas was the guest speaker. The football teams presented Coach Marshal with a T.V. set for his office. On May 9, 1978 all spring sports teams were honored. Departing Coach Linda Lowery was given a beautiful watch from her Volleyball team. The Outstanding Athletes of the year were named: Don Mat- thews and Julie Gleason. Seniors Jett Nlaluski and Chris Lee present the track coaches with their very own jock straps. Student Life - l l
