An Active F.H.A. Students enrolled in Home Economics are eligible for membership in the Future Homemakers of America. Students engage themselves in many activities. For example, collecting food during Thanksgiving to give to a needy family. As the Christmas holidays near, F.H.A. sponsored a faculty tea where teachers enjoyed early morning delights that lifted their holiday spirits and gave them a relaxed atmosphere before the holidays. Tupperware was sold as the members money building project. There were three winners, Kathy Tracy, Brenda Dryer, and Sharon Chaloupka, with sales over 540. Sales of the project totaled 52,600.00 Profits were used to pay for activities and to help send members to state and local con- ventions. As the Tupperware arrived, Sandra Castleberry and Cheryl Alford curiously inspected the merchandise.
