All Region Choir Tryouts ci Success Twenty-one members ofthe Jersey Village High School Choir auditioned for membership in the All Region Choir at tryouts held at Westchester High School. These students had to learn five selections in four lan- guages in preparation for this event. All of the music was learned outside of class time. Many hours of practice had to take place after school and at night. Those who were selected to All Region Choir were: Nancy Bicca, second soprano, Pamela Surles and Janell Beecher, first alto, Beth Wade and Marilyn Shepherd, sec- ond alto, Kenneth Cordray and Edgar Lewis, second tenor, Jared Cooley and Michael Whitfield, Bassg Brenda Lebedzinski, first soprano, was selected as an alternate. students. Mr. Carl Hickfang puts a lot into his work with the choirs. Organizations The choir had to practice many long hours to obtain the uni- son they wanted.
