Busy Toes Even though the Falcon Band has fun doing crazy things every month they had something very important to keep them on their toes. During the months of August, September, October, and November the Band was working hard every afternoon learning a new marching drill every week to support their team. At the close of marching season the Band participated in the UIL Nlarching Contest and was awarded with a Second Division. During the holiday season they put on a Christmas Concert held in the JV auditorium. Things slowed down some, so they sold belt buckles and candy. Some members, in a ioint effort with the choir, raised money working for Hickory Farms. All money went to the Band fund. ln February Ensem- bles ancl Solos took over the band hall, before, during and after school preparing for the contest on March 4th.
