Sophomores Plagued With Tough Competition For the Sophomore Football team this was not a very good year with a season record of 1-9. Their first game against the Klein Bearcats was the start, by being defeated 15-12. But they did come back and win their next game against Kincaid 20-14. However the rest of their games were plagued with nothing but losses. The outstanding players of the year on the Sophomore team were, Roger Pillow, Dennis LeCroy, Bart Hallmark and Joel Stevens.
