The Bulldog Is Forever Barking The 1956 Bulldog Team showed the fire and the promise of the old Susquehanna Conference champs. Despite the fact that they only chalkecl up one win in the season's play, that win was one of the upsets of the League. They held a scrappy Blooms- burg High team scoreless in the closing weeks of a hard-fought season. Head Coach Leo Sticinski and assistants Laugh- lin lennings, Dan Hinlcel, and Bill Graff did an excellent job of snapping the boys into the good playing form that toolc them through a season of rugged schedules with a promising, if not spec- tacular, showing. Senior team members bowing out of high school grid iron clashes include: Bob Huffman, Dave Porter, Fred Dyroff, Bonnie Markle, Floyd Hoffman, and Frank Orgitano. Bob Huffman and Fred Dyroff were elected honorary team captains by their team mates. VARSITY SCI IEDULE ,aft ...f Did they make a first down? FOOTBALL 1. S. Opp. Sept. 7-Nlcmtoursville 12 14 Sept.
