Despite the fact that the club went into the greater part of their games the under-dog, they showed the never-dying spirit of .lersey Shore High. Although the Bulldogs didnit have a win, one big bright spot of the year was Chuck Aclerhold's winning a trophy for punting at an individual football skills contest held on the Lock Haven Athletic Field. Our adviser was Mrs. Mcllvaiue. The purpose ol' this club is to present to the student hody and to the townspeople the positive side ol' our school life through our weekly page. It is set up to foster the basic concept of a demo- cratic way of living. Some of the projects the School Council spon- sored were: The Charity Drive and Ball, Courte- sy Campaign, an assembly program, Tiadaghton Bowl Crowning, selling P. T. A. Fashion Show tickets, and helping the Booster Club.
