Queen Sandra Sours reigned for the evening. Her attendants were Beverly lckes, Gloria Miller, Brenda Lewis, and Vicki Knecht. All of these girls were proudly chauffered around the field in the convertibles to the delight of Bladensburg and Bluejay fans . Master of ceremonies for the evening was Ron Geitgey. He described each girl and the convertible in which she rode as they passed the stands. Queen Sandra was escorted by Co -Captain Ted Paullin. Ted gave the Queen the traditional congratula- tory kiss, after which she gave her best wishes to the team and threw the football to Ted as the game began. Other escorts for the evening were Co -Captain jim Hol- lingsworth, Will Garn, Mike Obrecht, and Kerry Galliher. After the game, the homecoming dance was held in the school gymnasium .
