In the North County tourney, after Ed Parham and Terry Forrest combined with 33 points to spark a first round win over Pattonville, and Dan Nieman soloed with 26 markers as Jennings outscored Fairview by 29 points in the second round, the St. Charles Pirates, trailing 32-25 as Jennings got a halftime locker-room needling, came roaring back with a 19 point final quarter to nip the Bull- dogs in the final seconds.
