Larry Doll listens attentively as Mr. Livingston advises him on college entrance requirements. Those searching for guidance may now find Mr. Livingston on the first floor of the new addition. Because so many students seek his services, a waiting room adjoining the new guidance office is also available. Situated in a well lighted, softly tinted room with a view overlooking the Clifton Street side of our school, he carries on his continuous task of helping Jennings students. An important function of the Guidance Depart- Ten ment is the testing program which determines indi- vidual interests and abilities and indicates aptitudes. Another service is that of personal counseling whereby a student is guided toward the solution of his personal problemsg he may be assisted in choosing af college appropriate to his income, or in selecting a career compatible with his ability. Last, the Guidance Director attempts a follow- up service by keeping in touch with our graduates.
