The club selected as their motto Sincerity, Honesty, and Courtesy. It is the aim of every individual to live up to this motto and to encourage other students in our school to do the same. The club began its activities by having a campaign for Courtesy Week. The club continued its activities by making an address book, which included every person's address and telephone number in Senior High. The club has various other activities planned. The trophy was presented to Don on the grounds that he had exhibited the best playing ability, spirit, and showing of sportsmanship. 4-'vu BOYS' STATE ln the summer of l95l, Leonard Litzsinger and Ralph Warmann had the opportunity to participate in the activities of the week at Missouri Boys' State as representatives from Jennings High School. The purpose of Boys' State, which is sponsored by the American Legion, is to learn government by actually taking part in setting up a model government. In addition to this, ample time was given for talks by leading officials of our state and national government, for recreation, and for meeting boys from other sections of the state.
