Our Library Contains 5,500 Books MR. GERALD SARRADET B.A., USL Librarian Mr. Sarradet spends many hours in his office studying, reading, and writing bits of information so as to be able to help those that come to him. He also spends much time with the students themselves, helping them when they are in a rush and setting aside certain books for people that want them. Artie Berry and Mike Hawthorne are aided as they check out their books by Library Club member, Phyllis Hebert. At one time or another most students of Jennings High School have a study hall. The atmosphere in this long room is of the best, for not only is there fresh air and good lighting but also a variety of books, magazines, and newspapers all placed in chronological order to best aid the student. ABOVE: Bethel Boudreaux, one of Mr. Sarradet's active Library Club members helps him as he puts away books which had been checked out.
