Important Assets of Our School The peace and quiet in the library aids students in studying for tests, mid-term exams, or just reading one of the fascinating books that can be found on the library shelves. The film that Mr. Sarradet is showing will help students to find reference books or novels much more easily. Mr. Sarradet spends a great deal of his time in the little office at one end of the library. Although he often seems very busy, he is happy to give any assistance a student might need. 23

M. , Ed. , Louisiana College Band The girl's ensemble, under the direction of Mr. Ricard has sung at Christmas and Spring Concerts. They are: Gail Laughlin, Harriet McLean, Lee Thibodeaux, Danna Fannon, Joyce But-son, Jackie Hildebrand, Charlene Clemons, Harriet Shultz, Marlene Firestone, and Jackie Prather. ■ .- A First hour every morning one can find our band practicing diligently for our football games and concerts. The great job they did this past season has proved rewarding.

S. , McNeese Algebra I Senior Math Confused geometry students working on the board receive assistance from Mr. Janice. The ancient course of math is still being pondered by 20th century students here in Miss Romero's Algebra I class. Interested Algebra II students watch attentively as Mr. Rine shows them how to do graphs. Mr. Rine also teaches trigonometry and analysis to seniors.
