Headed by Mr. Simmons Coach Eddie Harleson, on whose shoulders many important responsibilities are placed, is the assistant principal at JHS. Coach is truly an asset to Jennings High. Mrs. Helen Evans, our very capable office secretary, is always on hand to render help in any way she can to student and teacher alike. At one time or another every-student must get an admit from the office for his absence. Coach Harleson is issuing admits to Sandra Prather and Marilyn Miller.

Administration Effectively Mr. Simmons, our principal, is the headstone of our school. Whenever he is needed, he is there to lend a helping hand. Whenever trouble arises, he will lend an ear to every side of the situation. To every student he has given expert advice when it was needed. He is always around when someone needs to unload his troubles. As every student knows, Mr. Simmons gives much more than is expected of him. If there is anyone who works beyond the call of duty, it is Mr. Simmons. He thinks of the entire student body as a whole, and not just the individual. Under his stern direction, Jennings High School has run like clock-work for twenty years. The school could not run without him, and it could not be run more efficiently unless there were two of him. To him the students of JHS offer a special thank you.
