Foreign Language Mr. Granger, Miss Shultz, Mrs. Keeth, and Mrs. Cushing try to decide who will represent the English department at the literary rallies. These freshman English students examine the exhibit Short, Short Stories and look over stories which were written by their classmates. At left, the French II class listens to an interpretive reading. The French classes have been very active this year in promoting a knowledge and interest of French at Jennings High. At right, the French I class takes dictation. Classes are conducted in the new language laboratory, which was partially paid for by the United States Government in an effort to promote foreign languages in secondary schools. 15
