UNIOR The junior Class will never forget the fond memories of its junior vear at a vear hustling with activities. Beginning with a series of pep rallies. concessions and pennant sales we generated school spirit which we directed, espe- eiallv in the earlv part of the vear, towards sports activities. XVQ- were well represented hv ath- letes and found our class mates making news on the gridiron. llailing from our class were nine lcttermen with Iohn Yinoskv receiving All Coun- tv Award in his position at center. Recognition of our athletic prowess was not limited to the gridiron, for we attracted attention on the has- kethall Hoor and wrestling mat with Don YVino- vich taking District 5 Championship Honors. Our field of musicians stepped out with 12 vocalists attending All Countv Cho- rus and 4 musicians attending district band. Go- ing on to greater heights was Shirley Patrick, the first student of ever to appear in the State Band. Spring found our class play. appropriate- lv titled, i'Spring Fever. well under wav. Dur- ing the production of this comedy we had experi- ences We'll never forget. Concluding the term we plaved host at a prom for the seniors which proved to he one of the hest dances of the vear. Under the direction of our sponsors. Nlr. Chervenak, Nlr. George, and Mrs. Secrist, we. a group of prospective seniors, feel we have reached our goal of becoming a good. active class of the high school.
