ADMIN ISTRATIO which of you THE MISSION OF OUR SCHOOLS The ,mission of our schools must he the mis- sion of life itself. Its effort must he to help hovs and girls live more heautiful and helpful lives. Education, therefore, must he more than how to add and suhtractg how to solve mechanical proh- lems. These are hut means to the end of learn- ing how to live more beautifully and how to serve our country, our fellowmen and our crea- tor. YVe must hegin hy teaching hoys and girls how to live together peacefully and helpfully. XVhat we call character must he developed and strengthened. Such Words as virtue, purity and integrity are essential lessons to he learned and made a functioning part of the daily lives of everv student.
