Reynolds -H any of 7'ou2 eau Together In all the hustle and happiness of grad- uation let's take a little time. as the class of 1951, to look back over the song in four parts that we have been composing together for the past four years. The fall of 1947 found us entering the Boswell High School as complete greenies. By the middle of the term our first shyness had worn off and then the walls of the gym echoed to the shouts of Swing your partner and Promenade . No, those weren't hill billies but our class square dance, our first real project. Next we see ourselves as Sophomores, busy and anxious to get through our second year. Now that we knew the students and faculty it was easier to get into the swing of things. The months passed quickly until it was spring, which brought the crowning glory of the year, our Spring Hop and a lot of fun for everyone. At the close of school that year it was hard to realize that we had actually reached the halfway point of our goal. L For three short months we relaxed and had fun and then the ring of class bells called us back again. As Juniors we had even more fun to look forward to. As our first event in the fall we had a Sadie Hawkins Dance, giving the girls a chance to pick their dates for the evening. Daisy Mae and Lil' Abner were represented by Doris Begley and Eugene Burock. To celebrate Valentine's Day we held a Heart Hop. The year drew to a hil- arious close with the Junior class play, Three Blind Dates. With the arrival of our class rings, the ordering of name cards and graduation an- nouncements, and the completion of our an- nual we realized our goal-Seniors at last! With hard work, we produced a successful Senior play, The Green Vine. This was followed by the annual Football Dance with Lewis Maust as King and Lois Fritz as Queen. To represent our class at the Maple Festival in April we chose Phyllis Anderson. No senior year is complete without a prom. To us our senior dinner dance was the last perfect note. Now the music of the finale begins and the class of 1951 will soon be taking its last bow. We, as a class, are proud of our per- formance. In scholarship, in sports, in friend- ships we have tried to produce a clear and perfect record. As students we will never return to J. B. J. but we will never forget it nor our years of fun and work together no matter where our different vocations may lead us. We will look back often and re- member our song of four years together.
