CLASS HISTORY M8mOFl9S memorles days of well not so long ago that we cant take a llttle tlme here to rehve them In the fall of 1945 we entered the portals of Boswell Hlgh School for the flrst tlme Teachers were heard saymg What Indlans 1n thls class' You see we looked l1ke Indlans after our 1n1t1at1on At the beglnnlng of that X ear tvso cheerleaders and four majorettes vxere chosen A few months after school had started you heard the shouts Play Bmgo' Have Youl Fortune Told' No you werent on the falr grounds you were at ou1 Wlnter Carnlval the mam event of our Freshmen year Then came our Sophomore vear xx 1th not as many ln our class but a vear of fun for everyone As a f1rst event we held a Sadle Havsklns Dance g1VlI'lQ,' the glrls thelr chance to make a date vuth the boys What' You sald vou saw two unusual people at that dance? Well don t worry that vs as only L11 Abner and Dalsy Mae In December we danced shoeless at our Sock Hop When Easter came around vse chanced off f1V6 Easter eggs Unbellevably It vsas soon the end of the school term We went home the last dax hardly able to walt for school to begln agaln because vse Those vacatlon months went almost too fast for those of us who love the easv l1v1n Now that we were JUHIOTS we had many thlngs to look forwald to There were dances to be planned and class rings to be purchased And oh how vue got them' That h1gh school rmg IS vshat everybody walts for so long Then there was our Junlor class play The Inner Wllly Well never forget Innel W1lly 1n h1s long undervw eal no lengthler than the troubles of Wllly After the play we had only a few more days to walt before becommg Senlors Th1S IS our Senlor year and we ve been svsamped wlth act1v1t1es agaln We have had a Football Dance complete Wlth the Coronatlon of Kmg and Queen and a Chr1stmas Dance Ooh' Yes those were Just the screams that went along Wlth our class play Ghost Wanted The monster of the play vull be long remembered We were all thrllled at the favorable comments on our play No sen1o1 s school days are complete vnthout the Prom and we were no exceptlon We VSOl1ld be semors agam classes tests and all Just to l1ve It over' We come now to the flnal chapter of the story We the Semors of 50 ulll never agam return to J B J H S as students but we w1ll new 61 forget lt nor our many frlends no matter hovs far an ay ue may go . . v , K , L , T , . . . .
