His classes are distinguished by notebooks and written tests. Mr. Ditolla is the end coach for the high school football team and is the junior high boys basketball coach. The most unusual- ly dressed female teach- er at J HS is Mrs. Cindy Collman, girls P.E. teacher. Mrs. Collman instructs her girls in tumbling, volleyball, badminton, tennis, soft- ball, flag football, and other sports. Glam try- ing to give something to challenge them allf' lVlr. Keith Church ill, ,IHS band director feels a good band is made by neveryone doing his own part and lVlr. Dalton Caven- der, credited with being the first coach to take the Trojans to state bas- ketball contests, is cur- rently spending his sev- enth year at IHS. ' - '1' K pf' 1 'X X' f A . lim not really sure that it fnew mathj helps computationf' says Mrs. Marcelene Bowen, ninth grade math teacher, 'ibut it does teach a great deal about the number systemfi Mrs. Bowen received her BA from Central Methodist College in Missouri and did graduate work at the University of Tulsa. In her spare time she likes to water ski and play golf. Mr. John Bunyard, head junior high football coach and high school history teacher, has been associated with JHS for eleven years. Besides coaching football, he aids in the wrestling program and coaches little league baseall during the summer months. Everyone knows that the halftime performances of the J HS band last from three to four minutes, but who knows that fifty to seventy-five hours of work have gone into each halftime show? Mrs. Alma Churchill does. She has taught elementary band, music theory, and in instrumental band for ten years. Reading, crocheting, boating, and fishing are hobbies Mrs. Churchill enjoys in her spare time. After ten years of teaching girls home economics, Mrs. Emma Bunyard finally has her own daughter, 18 month-old Stephanie, to teach. She enjoys antiquing, decoupaging. and teaching an adult sewing class. When pictures, films, or record players are needed, Mr. Joseph Burcbette has been consulted the last three years. One of the most qualified audio-visual directors in the state, Mr. Burcbette is currently serving on the County Film Committee.

Besides teaching math and physics at J HS, Bill Fisher is also president of the Jenks Classroom Teachers Association. He is a student as well as an instructor. Twice weekly, he attends classes at Northeastern State College. Mr. Fisher enjoys hunting and spends much of his spare time participating in his favorite sport. 'glieep eyes on copyw has if been said at least once a day by A Mrs. Claudia Gibson, who came here from New Mexico in 1969. She also teaches office practice and shorthand and works with FBLA. English isnlt the only language with which Mrs. Me llama es Senorita Connie Fousel and je m, appelle Madmoiselle Connie Fouself' With these statements she greets her Spanish and French classes. Following directions in Spanish, constructing pinatas, and doing ads in French are among her classes' activities. Maxine Edmiston is well acquainted. She has also taught French, her second languagef, According to Mrs. Edmiston, knowing English so well has helped in her study of French. Students who have Ameri- can History know he was around when history was being made. How else can a carving, Howie loves Martha, be explained. ln addition to school duties and working with the juniors, Mr. Dunn raises cattle.
