Karen Ann Hill 1958-1971 One must face many cycles in a lifetime. There are the cycles of the seasons, hours, days, minutes, and the in- evitable cycle that everyone must face: that of life and death. This summer the cycle of life and death became a sad realization to many of us with the tragic death of Ka- ren Hill. To all who knew Karen, she was more than an acquaintanceg she was a true friend. To know Karen was truly to love her. She was well liked not only by students but also by the faculty. Karen was a bright and question- ing student who was never satisfied with what she Iearnedg she strove to learn more. Equally proficient were Karen's abilities in sports. ln both Junior High Hockey and basketball, her spirit, ability, and drive kept the teams going. In everything that Karen undertook she was a success. Jenkintown High School sees few students with Karen's kind of ability, warmth, and enthusiasm. She will be sorely missed. 102
