Mr. Woodrow Crosby, the new principal at Jenkins, came to us from Myers Junior High where he had been principal for a year and a half. During his first year in a high school, lie made many changes. Me had the entrance poles and doors around school painted red, established an information booth in the main loggia, hung pictures in the halls, and campaigned against litterbugging. All of this helped make Jenkins very attractive. Mr. Crosby set some new goals for MVJ for 1977-78 more student council activity and Jenkins advancement to no. I in everything from academics to sports. When not busy at his school duties, Mr. Crosby enjoyed his favorite hobbies: tennis, music, sunbathing, and studying his Scottish heritage.
