General shop, wood, metal, and ceramics are courses one may choose to take in the high school shop de- partment. Students who participate in shop learn to apply their abilities in the field of carpentering and metal work. For the benefit of those who donit take shop in high school, general shop is offered to the 7th -and Sth grade boys to gain a working knowledge with wood. JHOP AND DRIVER ED UGA T10 Witlm so many young drivers on rhe highways today, driver education has become an accepted course for junior and senior students. The purpose of driver education is to make teen-agers safer drivers on the roads of today. Lectures, testing equipment and road work are all part of this course.
