The FBLA Means Business and the Key Club Heps the Needy The F.B.L.A. is a youth organization on the local, state, and national levels. Membership at j'town is limited to those students who are enrolled in a business subject second or fifth periods. We have a pro- gram meeting once a month with speakers, films, etc. on some aspect of the business world. We prepare and sell cookbooks to raise money to :attend regional, state, and national conferenres. At the conferences, we compete in various areas demonstrating our business skills. This year the Key Club assisted with the Swine flu immunization program. They also work with the Hurstbourne Kiwanis Club to raise money for needy children. KE Y UB .' DECA is involved in many regional and state competitions. Each year the members of DECA prepare and display their projects at various locations to prove themselves ready to enter the world of marketing. This yeat,l'town's DECA Club has a candidate for Regional DIZCA Sweetheart, Linda Lipton. -I'town's DECA members also did very well at rcgionals this year with one first place in public speaking by Daniel johnson, two second places, showcase lettering by Linda Husband and visual display by Mitch Gathof, and three third planes.
