With this ring you what? Well, dummy, it's perfectly clear. With this ring you become a member of the Senior Class. On May 25, 1976. the Juniors of jeffersontown High School lined up in alphabetical order to receive their bright, shiny symbols of Seniority. Each member of the class, whether receiv- ing a ring or not, was thoroughly excited, and the entire crowd oohed and nahed in anticipation. When all of the rings had been passed out, each student held on to it nervously. Then the junior Class Presi- dent, Gabriel Hernandez, finally gave the word for the packages to be opened: the crowd roared. Look at my ring! lsn't it beautiful! Boy, I'm finally a Senior! Wow, this is the life! Smiles were con- tagious. Then the next tradition began. Turn my ring, one person cried. l have to have it tumed 77 times for good luck. Even people without rings were delighted in the turning of others. Well, another class has become Seniors isighh, and we, the Seniors ol '77, would like to wish all future Seniors a hardy GOOD LUCK.
