. -.,.... BRIGHTJOSEPH FURMAN, and SHEILA CAMP- Hey, what color is our team wearing? Girls! l've told you before that you can't play Frolen Statues in P.E.! RITA CU PP finds something very amusing about this map. In this past year, we, the students of jeffer- sontown junior High School, showed our spirit in a thousand different ways. One way was on our Bicentennial Banner project. The subiects of the banner ranged from the Statue of Liberty to Black Spirit '76. Two explora- tory classes composcd of 7th and 8th graders worked on it for six weeks. We now have this symbol of our spirit hanging in the front hall. Another way we showed our spirit was to participate in games and pep rallies. We excitedly yelled our battle cry: F-I-G-H-T. Our spirit was also present in out academic studies. We continued the tradition of Char- ger spirit by eagerly learning and always try- ing to the best of our ability. Our pride in ftown also showed out spirit. We have pride in our school, its activities, and our fellow students. As we continue to grow from 7th and Bth graders to 12th grad- ers, so will out pride grow, because the stu- dents of the junior High, well . . . We have a spirit. Junior High 125
