Mrs. Steinbrunner was our teacher in the first and second .PI ' . :AN grades. In the third and fourth grade C Q, , N Miss Kenney was our teacher. Mrs. N t 'r . 'K 6' Miner taught fifth and sixth. In the fall of nineteen ' Ji' - 2 hundred and fifty we entered Junior High with still Q , ,Q N fourteen members in the class Mrs. Geneva Johnson . xx. .' ' KX, as our sponsor. In the eighth grade we came back M4 -' with thirteen members with Mr. Hoagland as our o Q sponsor. V Eight of us came back to enter the Freshman year with two new members, Bonnie Dague and Perry . 3 in ,NA Y Miller. Under the sponsorship of Mr. Amstutz, the class placed ,,, ' Wayne Weaver at the Helm to be their President. Bonnie Daguewas '? -Z: selected to assist him as Vice-President. Paul Zehr was elected ' N l ' Secretary and Karen Smitley, Treasurer. Karen Smitley was chosen ' 9 to represent the class as the Queen-elect for the Fall Festival. The ' - Freshmen are well represented in the school activities. Perry V Miller carries the class's honor on the baseball field. Sharon Marble ' ' ' Carl Baker, Robert Crandell and Paul Zehr march with the school bandg and Perry Miller and Wayne Weaver are on the basketball team. One of the Freshmen activities in the early fall was the class party September the twenty-fifth. The members of the class were transported via a farm truck for a hay- ride to the Blufftom Street Fair, and they enjoyed a happy , I evening of entertainment and frolic. -5- ROW l: Carl Baker, Mary Jane Brooks. Robert Paxson in the fifth and Mrs. Ruby Miller in the sixth grade. When we entered Junior High School, our number had decreased to twenty. We lost another member in the eighth grade, leaving us with only nineteen members to enter the Freshman year. Our sponsor was Mrs. Lee. Sixteen of us made it to the Sophomore year with Mr. Fred Hoagland as sponsor. Mr. Hoagland left us at Christ- mas and he was replaced by Mr. Earl Hartman. We chose the following class officers: President, Butch Swang Vice- President, Rose Ann Marble: Secretary and Treasurer, Ann Luginbill. Our class is well represented on the basketball team. Wayne Bollenbacher serves as the student manager. Colleen Egly and Rachael Stolz are second team cheerleaders. Our Fall Festival was a great success.
