Class Prophecy T. V. Announcer--This is You Asked For lt coming from station W. J. H. S. Today we have as our guest, Mr. Richard Butcher of the New Corydon Bul1dog's great baseball team. Here he is folks. How do you do, Mr. Butcher? Would you tell us some things about yourself Butch--Yes, sir. I won every game that I pitched and also pitched four no-hit, no-run games in this years World Series. T. V. Announcer--Fine! Now, do you know the rules of this game? We ask famous persons to appear on our show and grant them any reasonable request they have. What is your request? Butch--I would like to see my classmates that I graduated with, and our class sponsor. T. V. Announcer--We will turn on our magic T. V. and view each of them. Jo Uhrick is coming in on the screen. She seems to be enclosed in ropes. I hear cheering. The picture is getting clearer. There she is: A lady wrestler! Jolly .Io has won three championships in the last four years. The picture is fading and another is coming into focus. It's all white. Snow: Why, this is Alaska: And there is Clifford Kuhn making with the sales talk. Cliff has been selling Westinghouse Refrigerators to the Eskimos. They say it's wonderful place to keep their food cold without freezing. I hear something going scratch, scratch, like a pen writing on paper. It's Orla Kuhn writing a slow ticket for a motorist because he was going under 300 m. p. h. on a state highway. Orla was elected Chief of Police of Berne because he had such a good driving record and always drove carefully. ' David Hammitt is showing on the screen now. And a good showing it is, too. Dave has a stock farm near Houston, Texas. He sells about 25,000 steers annually. They are used to make those famous Hammitt-burgers. We switch now to West Virginia and Roland Tumbleson's famous farm. Roland and his wife crossed a strawberry plant with a milkweed. I can see a sign Strawberries and Cream. Pick Your Own . The Tumbleson's retired with money they received from this discovery. We can hear splashing now. There's someone swimming. It's Myrna Weaver, the famous woman swimming champion. She is known the world over as Myrna the Mermaid . Myrna is just coming in on the home stretch of the English Channel. She made it in two weeks, four days and eight hours. Larry Coblentz is coming into focus now. The scene is in Tennessee. Larry has est- ablished a promising business down among the hillbillies. He owns and operates a funeral home. Believe mei He has plenty of business with those family feuds going on all the time. Coming on the screen now is your sponsor, Ed Heimann. He is a busy man these days. His four sons have increased to twelve and they have I-leimann Gift Centers all over the world. T. V. Announcer--W ell, Butch, I guess that is all of them. What did you think of them? Butch--Some of them surprised me and some didn't, I always thought Jo should be a wrestler, especially after some of those right hand punches that she landed.
