SENIOR WILL We the class' of 51 of the Jefferson High School, of the County of Adams, of the State of Indiana, being of sound body and mind, Cwe hopej in a state of confusion after four long and hard years of work do hereby publish our last will and testament. We now recall any and all promises made by us either as a group or individual in answer to various requests by underclassmates. TO WIT: I, Norman Haines, will my Bookkeeping ability to Marilyn Brewster, my excuse blanks to Dick Keller, and my books and desk to Jack Wendel, I, Lyle Tumbleson, will some of my height to Jack Wendel, my paper and pencils to Gilly Kuhn, and my 'friendly disposition to anyone who needs it. I, Ruth Lehman, will my spectacles to Bud Ross, my blonde hair to Virginia Brewster and to the Junior boys my notebook paper and writing supplies, and my desk to keep them in. I, Betty Wendel, will to Larry Miller my curly hair, my height to- Gilly Kuhn, my place on the cheering' squad to Virginia Brewster. I, Gerald Miller, will my ability to control my temper on the basketball floor to Jack Wendel and to John Overholser my ability to play the pivot. I, Floreine Luginbill, will my good grades to John Overholser, my ability to get along with the teachers to Bud Ross, and my ofiice work to Richard Keller. I, Donald Gerber, will to Larry Miller my car, but he has to open it up in low gear, to Richard Keller my typing ability and to Bud Ross my good deportment grades. I, Patsy Johnson, will my ability to skip classes to anybody who can get by with it, my mischief to Gilly Kuhn and my slim figure to Marilyn Brewster. I, Anna Smitley, will my drawer in the typing room to Larry Miller and I hope that he doesn't have as much trouble finding his paper and book as I dog and my ability to eat in study hall to anyone who can get by with it. I, Darrel Kuhn, will my wavy blonde hair to John Overholser and my sense of humor to Virginia Brewster, providing she uses it as it should be used. Eight

SENIOR HISTORY Darrel Kuhn, Norman Haines, Lyle Tumbleson, Floreine Luginbill, Ruth Lehman, Patsy Johnson and Anna Smitley started their schooling in 1939 at Jefferson Township School. In the years gone by they have gained and lost classmates. Those joining them in their Freshman year and completing high school with them are: Betty Wendel, Donald Gerber and Gerald Miller. This fall when the class met with Mr. Erwin, their appointed sponsor, they chose Darrel Kuhn as Presidentg Betty Wendel, Vice-Presidentg Floreine Luginbill, Secretaryg and Anna Smitley as class Treasurer. Representing the Seniors on the Varsity team are: Darrel Kuhn, Gerald Miller, Lyle Tumbleson, and Norman Haines. Betty Wendel and Ruth Lehman bring honor to the class as Cheerleaders. This year has been a busy and enjoyable one for the Seniors. They have accomplished muchg but the greatest in their sight is the finishing of their high school education.
