When Juanita moved to Geneva the office position was transferred to Barbara Lehman. Mrs. Davis was our class sponsor during this year. We're proud of our six Freshman boys who are out for basketball. They are: Bob Switzer, Francis Wellman, Dick Stuber, Earl Johnson, Jim Patch, and Donald Charleston fwho is the first team student managerj. Our initiation day was a great success. The Hartford softball team thought us quite absurd. The end of the initiation day was celebrated with a hay ride sponsored by the sophomore class. On the night of Jefferson's Junior Fall Festival our class was honored when Patty Kelly was crowned queen. Seventeen

S. to further their education and enjoy themselves to the greatest extent. The group chose Jack Wendel as their president, Gerald R. Miller vice president and Larry Miller as secretary-treasurer. As is the Sophomores' duty we initiated the Freshman. The class held a class party at the school house in October. Our class is very well represented on the basketball team. Jack Wen- del is a substitute for the varsity team. Mr. Claren Neuenschwander is the class sponsor. Sixteen
