As we were waiting for the game to start, we sat and watched our old classmates come in. HSay!H said Harold, HThat looks like Bing Crosby coming there.H NI wouldn't know why,H I said. HThat's Gary Crosby, and his wife, Carole Benedict, our old schoolmate. She sings with him now. Quite a team.H ULook at that woman coming there,N said my wife. UBoy, I wish I had clothes like that.H HWhy that's Claris Gui1laume,H said Harold, Hand that's her husband, Fred Lesley, and Marcia Carpenter is with them. Marcia and Fred both work at the Stork Club. She is a cigarette girl and he is the head bouncer. Pretty tough, I hear.U HYou remember how neat Claris used to be, don't you?H I said. HWell, she now owns an exclusive dress shop on Broadway. She drives a white Cadillac convertible that Fred got her on their tenth wedding anniversary.H HTnere comes Bob Romine,H said Harold. HI bet he's as proud as a peacock. His son is on the first five, you know. He now owns the Minneapolis Moline Corporation.u NLook at the family coming there,H said Harold's wife. HThere's one-two-three ------- eight kids. What a bunchln HWhy that's Roy See,H I said. UYes, he has quite a family. Still lives back in Mexico. He was the first person to make a trip to the moon in a rocket.U HThere come the Norman Fishers. Their son is on the first five, too. Kay Draper is with them.U HSay, what are they doing now?H asked Harold. nNorman owns the Fisher Construction Company which is now in the process of building a new school at the site of old J. T. H. S.,H I said. HAnd Kay, well, after all the boys she went with, she is now an old maid raising cats on her farm west of Mexico.H HLook at that woman with the long black hair H said my I 9 wifeg HShe looks strong.H HThat's Freda Miller,U I said. HShe is a woman wrestler and is now competing for the championship.H The game was soon over, and Mexico won 50 to 48. A tough game but they did it. On the way home we talked about the ones who weren't at the game. 8

quite a number of years. As our last event in the Junior year, we escorted the Seniors to the Hotel Spencer, Marion, Indiana, for the JuniorfSenior reception. Our theme was UHawaiian.N We were served a ham supper and afterwards we saw the movie, HCause for Alarm,H starring Loretta Young. In the summer Miss Fisher entertained us with a hobo party. Games and refreshments were enjoyed. It is with some dignity that we, twenty in number, occupy the Senior places. We gained one student, Fred Lesley. Our first event was the Halloween Carnival. We changed the gym floor to a carnivalcade of bingo, basketball throw, dart throw, fish pond, baseball throw, tile, and refreshment stands. The most exciting event of this carnival was the crowning of the queen, Margaret Shultz, a Sophomore. Attendants were Kay Draper, Senior, Janice Fishback, Junior, Judy Lesley, Freshman. Our next event was presenting the Senior play HComin' Round the Mountain.N THiS was an entirley different play than our Junior play, but we feel sure everyone enjoyed it as much as our Junior play. Our class is a firm supporter of sports. We feel that the boys in our class have played an important part in sports during their four years at J T. H. S. Our class colors are blue and silver, our flower, the pink carnationg and motto, HFINISHED-YET BEGINNING.H Like our motto suggests, we are now finished with our years of study at school, but are just beginning to use what we have learned during these years to further our future advancement. Class Prophecy Yes, tnat's right. The Mexico Bulldogs were in the state finals and Ronnie Krieg, who was in the class of '52, was coaching them to victory. The first five were: Norman Fisher, Jr., Larry Krieg, Jerry Peppers, Sonny Romine, and Louie Sullivan. I wanted to be at the game, because I knew that about all of our class would be there to help foot for the team. My wife and I went to the game with Harold Richardson, who is now playing for the Chicago Cubs, and his wife, who was formerly from Peru, Indiana. 7

Hwhat are the others doing now?H asked Harold. HI know about Howard, and of course we all know about Jerry and Bill, but what has become of the rest of them?H HYou tell about Howard and I'll try to remember the rest,H I said. HYou know how nice Howard looked with a mustache in our Senior play,H said Harold. Hwell, everyone persuaded him to go to Hollywood. He's now taking Clark Gable's popu- larity. By the way, I hear that President of the United States, Jerry S. Williams, is going to relieve General William Yoder of his post of being in charge of our troops in Europe.H uYes, that's what I hear,H I said. I didn't say anymore about it, because I knew we had opposite views. nWe1l, here's the dope on the rest of them,H I said. HPhyllis is a famous French bathing suit model and Maxine Kraning is a great concert pianist tutoring the King of England's children. Doris is a psychiatrist--patients strictly men--and Nancy owns a big drive-in down in New Orleans. Her head car-hop is a fellow named Larry.H UThat's not all, is it?n said Harold's wife. UYou for- got Mary McCutcheon. She married Dick Howard who was from Peru, Indiana, but I haven't seen or heard anything about them.H USma1l wonder,H I said, HThey now have quadruplets. They had a hard time naming them but they finally made it. They named them Fairy, Mary, Sarrie, and Garrie.H HSay, Byron,H said Harold, Hwhat are you working at now? I haven't heard you say anything about it.H HI'm president of the National Socity for the Aged,N I said. HI have to go to Washington next week to confer with President Jerry S. Williams on the needs of the society and get some more money from the government.H By this time we had reached home. UWhen will we see you again?U asked Harold. HProbably the next time Mexico goes to the state finals,U I said. HWell, goodbye then,H said Harold. HI'l1 see you up yonder! 9
