All girls are urged to be- long if they are willing to live up to the Y.W.C.A. purpose. To build a fellowship of women and girls devoted to the task of realizing in our common life those ideals of personal and social living to which we are committed by our faith as Christians. In this endeavor we seek to understand Jesus, to share His love for all people, and to grow in the knowledge and love of God, and to follow the Y-Teen Goals. To grow as a person. To grow in friendship with people of other races, religions, and nationalities. To grow in Knowledge and love of God.

STANDING: Mr. Deacon, Ray Cole, Dick Bidwell, Eddie Hockenberry, Francis Murray, Robert Sanders, Paul Murray. The boys who are members of the Vocational Agriculture class learn to be farmers of the future. The boys of this class form a club called the Future Farmers of America. These boys participate in different school activities. The F .F.A. boys won a gold medal in a parliamentary procedure contest at Bellport High School. One activity in which the boys participated was a chicken roast. There was also a pest hunt. The F.F.A. boys and some other students of West Jefferson High School wrote Soil Conservation Essays. The winners were Ray Cole, Bob Sanders, and JoAnn Mc- Dariiels. Awards were presented to the winners at Madison Rural High School. Each year the boys elect a chapter queen. The queen for this year is Jean Christ- man. The officers of the F.F.A. this year are: President, Bob Bidwellg Vice-President, Harry Campbell: Secretary, Bob Sandersg Treasurer, Eddie Hockenberry.
