Douglas found Little Generals' defense tough, but not tough enough. Larry Yates crosses goal line for first touchdown in John Marshall game. General Have Rough ea on Jim Bamberger 8: Teddy Wooten give Capitol Hill receiver special General treatment. 61 Coach Lower's Little Generals fought a brave but losing battle this season. The scores prove this. Marshall 6-12 Qlossj Douglas 0-12 Qlossj Capitol Hill 12-6 Qwinj Harding 13-0 Qwinb Northwest 6-12 llossj Southeast O-6 Qlossj Although the team had an unrewarding year scorewise, the statistics of most of the games indicated that the Generals out- played their opponents . Yates, Engles, Wooten, Andrews, Ritter, Little, and Sullins are to be commended for their playing this season.
