As the school year opened, a new story began for the 67-68 year at Thomas Jefferson Junior High School. This yearbook puts into words and pictures what Statesmen are and what they did this year. Hard work has gone into the making of the Statesman yearbook and without the help of many people, it would have been impossible to put the Statesman into your hands . I would like to express my special thanks to Mrs. Rose Marie McNeely for her help and advice. Also, my thanks go to Brenda Smith, copy editor and to Suzanne Harrell, the layout editor for all their fine work. Robin Hamilton and all her class editors did excellent work on the class section. Whatever your favorite section of the yearbook, there was a special person responsible for it and because of the endless number of people who helped, it is impossible to mention them all ...... so a Big Thanks goes to all the yearbook staff. Statesmen are proud and spirited and enthusiastic in all their school work and wise and athletically gifted as well. Statesmen will always remember and be re- membered as jefferson Statesmen.
