Stiente Science is one of the four main courses taken at Jefferson. Chemistry, astronomy, physiology, biology, geol- ogy, and machines are some of the areas covered from seventh through ninth grade. The shop courses taught at Jefferson are graphic arts, metals, woods, general shop, electricity, power, and drafting. A11 seventh grade boys take beginning drafting one semester and general shop the other. In eighth and ninth grade, industrial arts courses are electives.
