Cheerleahera THIRD ROW: Vicki Johnson, Jan Gartner, Judy Currie. SECOND ROW: Debbie Church, Madelynn Crill. FIRST ROW: Mary Lindstrom, Nancy Leatherby, Nancy Johnson. The cheerleaders arouse our school spirit at the games. To try out to be a cheerleader a girl must make up her own Cheer. Those who were chosen were expected to practice two nights a week under the direction of Mrs. Hunt. They must maintain a C or above average in scholarship and at least a B in conduct in order to continue as a cheerleader. The cheer- leaders cheered at all the games and the pep assemblies.

This event always draws a good crowd, and it is always enjoyed by the spectators. The starting five for the faculty were Mr. Lindsay, Mr. Williams, Mr. Gulotta, Mr. Toti, and Mr. Colclasure, but the other faculty members on the team also saw plenty of action. The faculty won the game by the score of fifty to forty-nine, but the varsity was leading during much of the game. Everyone is looking forward to next yearts game, which should be just as exciting.
