Cheerleahera THIRD ROW: Vicki Johnson, Jan Gartner, Judy Currie. SECOND ROW: Debbie Church, Madelynn Crill. FIRST ROW: Mary Lindstrom, Nancy Leatherby, Nancy Johnson. The cheerleaders arouse our school spirit at the games. To try out to be a cheerleader a girl must make up her own Cheer. Those who were chosen were expected to practice two nights a week under the direction of Mrs. Hunt. They must maintain a C or above average in scholarship and at least a B in conduct in order to continue as a cheerleader. The cheer- leaders cheered at all the games and the pep assemblies.

Entramuralg BACK ROW: Jim Olson, captain; Robert Smith; Doug Strand; Alvin Loudermilk. FRONT ROW: Kurt Yahn; Joe Baney, Mike Smith; Mike Roush. On September 8th the intramural flag football season got off to a roaring start under the super- vision of Mr. Lindsay. Ninety-four boys from all three grades participated. 0f the six teams, the Illinois squad taboveh emerged as champions. On October lst the season ended with Tom Larson being the outstanding player. On October lst Mr. Lindsay started the intramural basketball tournament. The 145 partici- pants were divided into fourteen teams. On November 3rd, the Cincinnati squad tbelowh emerged as school champions. The most outstanding player was Dick Carlson. BACK ROW: Mike Martin, Jim Lee, Craig Mazzola. FRONT ROW: Jeff Borden, Brian Oleson, Rick McClelland, Steve Johnson.
