This year the staff printed the Ninth Grade Directory, work sheets for some teachers, other booklets, and, of course, the SAGE PAGE. The twenty-eight students in the class learn about various kinds of writing, printing, and photography. They operate copy machines. Plate-making and finishing is part of the work, too. There was an advanced class first semester, but second semester the starting and advanced classes merged. This type of class has three purposes. They are - the school work learned, the machine work learned, and enjoyment.

Many people think this is an easy job, but it really consists of hard work. A student must have anA orB average in English and Math. The yearbook publications course consists of learning how to publish the school yearbook, and then putting into practice what has been learned. Some of the duties performed are collecting money for the yearbook, selling taffy apples, taking pictures, laying out pages, cropping pictures, and writing articles. Each person is assigned six or seven pages to do. It is that personis job to finish these pages and turn them in on time.
