Dedication The Jeff Journal Staff dedicates this yearbook to Mr. John Wise and Mr. Chalmer Hart. V Mr. Hart, who for the last seven years served as assistant principal and dean of boys, is now the principal of Jeffer- son Jr. High. Mr. Wise, Who served as principal of Jefferson since it opened in 1956, this year was appointed the new principal of East High School.

Introduction As we survey the years which are to come, we cannot help but wonder what is in store for us. It would be impossible for us to record completely one school year at Jefferson, but we hope that what we have portrayed will enable you to relive your own school days.
