In JefPs Journal for 1960 we have tried to capture typical scenes of our life at Jefferson. The hurrying and scurrying between Classes, the note passing, that favorite basketball game, our moments of study, and, perhaps most important and memorable, the feeling of being part of a group are some things we have tried to include. We can always be proud of our fine school build- ing, the modern facilities, the pleasant atmosphere, and the guidance of our fine faculty. We are also confident that the experiences you recall as you leaf through these pages will be happy ones.

During the organization of the library, it has been in constant use by both classes and individuals. The librarian has been called upon to familiarize students with the library procedures, to answer countless questions, to locate materials for both students and teachers. The members of the Library Club, under the supervision of the librarian, help with the work. Because we appreciate the high quality of our library and the conscientious, devoted manner in which she has served us all, we, the student body, through the Annual Staff, do hereby dedicate the 1960 JefPs Journal to Mrs. Ruby Duffy.
