The crowd at Kingston Stadium waited anxiously as words similar to these were addressed by Mr. Robert Geuder over the p.a. Half time of the October 14 varsity football game marked the memorable event, at which the 1984 queen was soon to be announced. As the evening proceeded, each of the ten finalists waited anxiously for their turn to walk along the white carpet. The thought of walking out in front of all those people really scared me, commented finalist Connie Jacobson. As tense moments arose, the cape and crown were placed on Mary Still, the new Homecoming queen for 1984. The entire week preceeding the Homecom- ing game was filled with festivities.
