I ,ev f QM Pumping gas at Derby provides senior Doug Barnes with extra spending money. Money, money, and more money! It's hard to tell what reforma- tory a high schooler would be in if he didn't have any money to spend. It's the driving force in every student's life because it's such a necessity. And nearly all high schoolers at one time or another find it necessary to have a job to support themselves. Whether it's working at a gas sta- tion, food store, restaurant, or a tooth pick fac- tory. it doesn't seem to matter. As long as the checks keep coming, the students can keep go- ing to places like Bugsys, Pizza Hut, Armstrong's, Bob Zimmerman Ford, Texaco, and McDonaId's to spend those hard-earned bucks for things that bring happiness and satisfaction. Making money and then spending it is really important to me sighed senior Mary Quijano. l mean you can't have any fun these days unless you have the bucks to spend. And, of course, there's always birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, and thousands of more occasions that seem to steal that money away. So, for the high school stu- dent, getting a job, keeping it, and making money to live on is as vital as Rolaids after a school lunch. 3 may. 5 3 3 ? 1 Qi Selling tickets to Shaun Kelsey and Lori Kraft I8 just part of junior Chris Prusek s job at Stage 4.
