Senior Senate, Distributive Education, and Concert Choir were just a few of the many groups that contributed to the stream of smiling salesmen wandering the halls in search of prospective customers and the almighty buck. Mike llten, a member of D.E., commented, It seemed that we were always selling things all year long. It wasn't so bad,though, since it gave us something to do during the year. The issue of student sales came under close scrutiny this year. In a report filed by the NCA evaluation team, it was stated that there was too much of an emphasis placed upon fund raising at Jefferson. We echo that concern, replied Mr. William C. An exhausted and forlorn Mark Ockenfels sold everything from fruit to socks to help raise money.
