Cakes, model cars, end a pet recoon After showmg off his novel display of keep Terri Covington, Dave Kurka, end beer cans junior Jeff Nechanncky funds Sue Burk busy outside of school. a minute to clown around can be conquered by hav- wing a hobbyl This fact is supported by the many Jefferson students who pursue hobbies in their spare time. No, we don't mean the run-of- the-mill hobbies such as eating, sleeping, or watching television, but pastimes like crafts, pets, and various collections. Hobbies run the limit, from beer cans and baseball cards to un- usual items like the Mickey Mouses and Panda Bears that sisters Ruth and Janice Goodman spend their spare time hunting up. Senior Dave Kurka enjoys putting model cars together in his spare time, and said of his craft, lt takes up my spare time and helps me in my future interests, because I plan to be an auto body man. Sue Burk, junior, disclosed her numerous pets are something to go home to after school . . . besides homework! Whatever the reason for having a hobby, it seems the students who do have an activity to fill up those empty hours seldom get bored. 3 Sig.
