During halftime activities, drum major Dave Ellis shows Mona Meiner and es- cort Kevin Tomasek to their place on the field. HOITleC0h1il1g h8S such different meanings to many people. To the specta- tors it meant drama and excitement, to the nine finalists, thrills and many pleasant memories. To the alumni and football team it meant the first Homecoming victory in three seasons, a 29-7 trouncing at the expense of Iowa City High. The voting was opened by the senior class who selected the first 25. The juniors then joined the upperclass in eIecting the finalists. And now, it's all history as Jody Doyle was crowned Jeffer- son's twenty-first Homecoming queen. The dance was held in the cafeteria on the eve of Halloween with the theme, lf You Leave Me Now.
