Although these plans are varied, they all have one thing in common. They are made easier or more fun by the knowledge of a foreign language. There are other specific jobs such as professional translators, or guides, which are built on the knowledge of more than one language. At Jefferson you can take French, Spanish, Russian. German, and that eternal foundation, Latin. Classes for both beginners and advanced students await students who desire or need to study a foreign lan- guage. 28
