Jefferson High School offers to eoch student the opportunities to secure the fundamentals of o fine education. The student body organization and activities permit each person to participate in democratic cooperative undertakings. Each may develop individual abilities and talents while serv- ing the school and his fellow classmates. Friend- liness is the keynote of all relationships. The Jefferson Spirit that becomes part of our very be- ing is the culmination of our efforts. —Miss Dorothy Flegel Jefferson High School aims to provide a four-yeor period of satisfying experiences that will serve as an effective background for another period of up to fifty years of successful living in this or another community. The understanding, the responsibility, self control and spirit of cooperation thot are devel- oped day by day in this and similar institutions will surely determine the limitations of that life. It is my sincere hope that the present high school generation will be the one to realize that by careful planning and vigorous follow through, the future can be made. —Mr. L. C. Campbell Our First Mates
