The 1977 edition of the traditional Sadie Hawkins Dance was a quiet affair. All the usual attractions were there: Marryin’ Sam tied the knot for couples who could afford the price; Kickaboo Joy Juice was available straight from the cider jug; couples could pose for a picture they would never forget. Couples danced Dogpatch style to the Disco Sound of John Hunt, or they just sat and watched others bounce, kick, and jump. Fortunately the only swaging this year was just to the music which meant Winter Formal would not have to be cancelled. 23

Christmas Carol The Ghosts of Christmas' Past, Present, and Future rattled their chains and raised dust as the JTC players offered Dickens' classic, The Christmas Carol December 15th and 16th. Strong performances and adept staging made this a presentation that rattled your bones and left you with a real appreciation of the talents of our players.
