It if Before classes each morning the seniors ,proudly displayed their yellow cords in the main hall. The girls, yellow trade-marks ranged from culottes and jumpers to skirts and vests, and some of the senior boys renewed the tradition of a wear-a-thon. During the basketball season, the girls occupied the coveted position in the front rows of Jellls enthusiastic Block Section while J Club members gave them vocal support. The seniors, final year at ,left was not all fun and laughter, however. The pupils needed to plan the future. Civics, a course required for graduation, had to be mastered. Term papers and other grueling assign- ments consumed their time. Challenging questions on the Scholastic Aptitude Test examined their knowledge, and college applications had to be completed.
