It didn't take more than a week to settle down to the routine of school. Seeing new taces in the sophomore class, making new friends, renewing old acquaintances, making plans, gossiping .... Attending classes and studying seemed like an endless chore. Social activities got started with the annual Back to School Sock Hop. Senior cord outtits and new fads caught several glances. We cheered the foot- ball team to victory with its new head coach. The weeks of fall quickly sped, bringing cold winter days, but leaving with it many vivid. cherished memories. A group ot anxious left fans eagerly await the climax of the Iett-Shortridge game.

Thanksgiving brought the annual Turkey Trot. The football season being ended, we plunged into the full swing of the basketball season. Before we knew it, the busy Christmas season was here, and gone after a thoroughly enjoyed two weeks' vacation. And then it was back to school. The end of Ianuary brought both social and scholastic activities.
